Facebook Ads: The Epilogue

It’s live.

The modified ad, which shows only a big naked pregnant belly, but WITHOUT the title of the novel I am advertising, is finally up. The title is in my text portion, but not on the image, which would be more representative of the actual novel cover.

I’m not sure whether to consider it a victory. I guess we’ll see if the ad can manage to drive as much business as the ad’s BANNING BY FACEBOOK ADS TEAM did.

FYI, here’s Max’s response:

Hi Michael,

Your ad has been approved.

In regards to your question about guns, we do allow the Image of a gun only if its for a game or is a part of a movie poster, however guns pointed at the user or ads for guns being sold are prohibited. We will not be able to share our internal data around your ad, but the information on your ads manager is the most accurate.

Hope this answers your questions

Thanks,

Max

My response?

Thanks, Max – looks like we’re in business.

I am not sure what else to say. Your thoughts?

This is how it should have looked.
