Well, I’m guessing the gutted, watered-down, impact-removed, milquetoast version of my ad that the Facebook Ads Team required is not as effective as the original design.
In the week after it (finally!) went live, I had a grand total of zero clicks (this compared to a peak of 31 clicks a day before they took down the original version). I started to wonder if it was really even live . . . or if they had just told me that so I would quit trying to get the ad published properly.
So, after all that trouble, I will be taking my business elsewhere – I have another promotional option that looks more promising – at least more promising than zero clicks! I have thus suspended the Facebook ad.
Thanks for nothing, Facebook.
